Hi, my name is Liska. I live in Berlin and I am 26 years old. When I started with Ohlala I made €3500 per month. Today I am among the top 10 creators of Ohlala and I am expecting to make €75.000 this year.

You may have wondered how so many influencers like me can grow and monetize their online presence so quickly. If you’re considering starting with Ohlala but still feel a little unsure stay tuned.

I am here to share my knowledge with you. In addition, I will provide you with a few good reasons why you should start right now. My goal is to make the benefits of an Ohlala account available to a broader group of people as it is a great opportunity to start a career as a content creator. If you want to know how you can make several thousands of euros per month, make sure to read the full article.

Grow the number of followers

The most important aspect of making money is to build a following on social media channels. Influencers with thousands of followers have a better chance of making big money with content creator platforms.

Likewise, the number of followers will have a big impact on your journey with Ohlala. Once you have a lot of followers interested in your content you will get them to pay to see your premium content on Ohlala.

Let’s do the math together: Before you can make €10.000 per month you need at least 1000 monthly subscribers on Ohlala worth €10 per subscription.

Build a strong fan base

I know that for many people it is extremely hard to grow a social media fan base. For me, it was definitely hard, because I had a job, studied full-time, and helped my parents run a business. This scenario might not apply to many people, but a lot of you will start with Ohlala as a side hustle. Especially at the beginning, it is difficult to commit to the goals you have in mind for your success on Ohlala.

For a lot of people, it is also too time-consuming to deal with the algorithm or achieve higher engagement rates. With Ohlala you do not have to worry about that as much because there are no specific times to post, no complicated analytics, and no “trends” to jump on. You can be as spontaneous as you want and your followers will see your posts anyway.

Become a mentor and learn from others

As a beginner, I joined the Ohlala referral program which you can join anytime. At the moment Ohlala offers you the chance to earn up to €50.000 per referred Ohlala member. You will get thousands of euros on top of your content earnings as there are no limitations on the number of your referrals.

My strategy to acquire referrals was to offer my advice and help to my followers. This approach made it easy for me to convince a lot of people to become an Ohlala model. You just need to share your personal referral link and if someone completes their registration using your link you will get paid. In fact, you will earn 5% of their earnings – without them losing any money.

Being a mentor back then I had a lot of great conversations about how to build a content creator business and I learned a lot from my followers too. It really was a great part of becoming a professional. On the other hand, I was able to help a lot of people to open up about all of the questions they naturally have as a starter. Some of them became life-long friends.

Get personal with your subscribers

Successful Ohlala models are constantly communicating with their audience. You can’t just send photos and sit back and wait for the cash to roll into your Ohlala account. You need to become an expert in promoting yourself to broad followership. One of the ways you do this is through personal conversations.

The good news is that Ohlala models can sell personalized content for additional fees. I have built a tip menu that details the content and interactions I am offering and how much each cost. This will not only increase your revenue. It is also a very good method to build stronger relations with your subscribers.

Be consistent with your content

At Ohlala you will see a wide variety of models from all over the world which will make it difficult to be consistent with your content. That is why you need to stick to your own individual style.

Find out what makes you special and stay true to your niche. Your earnings forecast really depends on the quality of the content you upload. This is the key to long-term success.

Quality over quantity. You must never forget that. The second rule, however, is that quantity is almost as important as quality. The more you post, the more incentives to subscribe to your Ohlala page. Your subscribers expect you to be updating them every day, with new photos, videos, stories, and personal messages.

Keep the passion alive

In order to be a successful content creator on any platform, it can’t be only about the money. It has to be about self-expression and creativity. You need to be constantly promoting all your social media platforms, and finding new ideas and ways to draw attention and get followers to your Ohlala account.

The amount of time and work it takes on a daily basis to build your online presence on any platform takes a lot of self-motivation, courage, and persistence.

What I am saying is don’t underestimate content creators on Ohlala. They are the most tenacious, hard-working, persistent, resilient entrepreneurs and salespeople. And, they are not in it just for the money. They are creating content because they want to express themselves and get paid for their self-expression.

Take care of yourself

Showing your body is not enough to be popular. Don’t get me wrong. It is out of the question that content creators need to be attractive when making the content they will upload to their Ohlala page.

The point is that there is no need to be good-looking by common standards, but content creators need to be taking care of their bodies, and doing some touch-ups to their faces before creating any content.

It’s about enhancing your personal features, not about perfection. It’s about looking your best self, not about imitating someone else.

Don’t make the same mistakes that I did

A major thing I learned along the way is that building a brand in today’s online world is all about authenticity. The problem is that your natural capabilities of presenting yourself to the world will die the moment you are overthinking your every next move.

So if you ask me what the biggest mistake you can make is I would say putting too much pressure on yourself. Be ambitious, but make sure your personality shines through whatever you do.

The second major thing I learned is the following. You may hear people say that they get €200 for one pay-per-view photo, but they usually do have some years of experience in this field and they know how things work on the platform.

If you are a beginner you have to spend time and energy to produce content consistently before the account starts generating high profits. Like all careers you strive for you will have ups and downs before things stabilize and revenues are constantly growing.
